Senior Production Engineer (m/f/d)
Your Mission
As a Senior Production Engineer (m/f/d) in our Robotic Assembly team, you will be instrumental in scaling our manufacturing capabilities, driving efficiency, and ensuring consistent product quality. You’ll focus on optimizing assembly processes, ensuring reliability of testing systems, and applying Design for Manufacturing principles to support high-volume, scalable production.

Key Responsibilities
Maximize Manufacturing Efficiency & Throughput
- Analyze production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements
- Increase throughput while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives in robotic subassembly and final assembly
Ensure Testing Asset Reliability & High Quality Standards
- Support, improve, and maintain end-of-line testing infrastructure
- Ensure stable test coverage and reliable pass/fail criteria across our production U-Cells
- Partner with Engineering to investigate non-conformities, root causes and improve first-pass yield
Integrate Design for Manufacturing (DfM)
- Collaborate with Product Engineering to ensure manufacturability of new designs
- Influence design decisions through early-stage feedback and pilot production reviews
- Develop tooling, production helpers, and fixtures to support efficient, scalable assembly processes
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in a production, assembly, or manufacturing engineering role, ideally in a fast-paced hardware or robotics environment
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, DfM, and assembly line optimization
- Experience working with electromechanical products and scaling-to-high-volume production
- Hands-on mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with design, operations, quality, and leadership teams
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
