Sales Engineer / Sales Manager (m/f/d) Aerospace & Defense Technology - Customer Consulting & Project Acquisition
Your Mission
You are our engine for growth: through proactive new customer acquisition and sustainable relationship building, you open up new markets in aviation and defense and successfully bring our highly reliable electronic solutions to customers.
Your areas of responsibility:
- Targeted new customer acquisition in the aerospace and defense sectors (OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, government agencies, ministries)
- Building and developing long-term customer relationships as well as managing existing key accounts
- Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities and tenders
- Preparing technical and commercial proposals - from calculation to contract signing
- Close collaboration with engineering, product management, and project teams
- Representing the company at trade fairs, conferences, and industry events
- Conducting market, competitor, and technology analyses with a focus on defense and aerospace
- Sales reporting (forecast, pipeline, KPIs) to management
Your Profile
- Degree or vocational training in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in technical sales within the aerospace or defense industry
- Proven track record in new customer acquisition and project acquisition
- Strong understanding of complex, safety-critical systems
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills - also when dealing with government agencies and industry partners
- Structured, self-reliant, and results-oriented working style
- Fluent in German and English (C1+); additional languages are an advantage
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
