Your mission
- You are responsible for implementing a grant program for founders (Prototyping Grants) and selecting teams worthy of funding
- You handle the screening and selection of promising candidates for pre-seed capital investments
- Based on your analysis and due diligence, you prepare decision memos for the investment committee
- You assist in the maintenance of our IT infrastructure
- You support in the creation of reporting documents
- You source dealflow at virtual and in-person events
Your profile
- You hold a degree in a business-related or technical field (e.g., economics, business administration,engineering, computer science or similar)
- You have initial experience in VC or starting a venture, ideally with a tech background
- You are passionate about complex, innovative technologies and eager to further develop and successfully
- manage an innovative investment program
- You enjoy taking responsibility, developing creative solutions, and making decisions
- You have fluent English skills and excellent communication abilities

Deine Aufgaben
Als (Junior) Investment Manager_in verantwortest du die Durchführung eines Stipendienprogramms (Prototyping Grants) für Gründende, sowie das Screening und die Selektion von Pre-Seed Capital Investment Kandidat_innen aus dem UnternehmerTUM Ökosystem. Gemeinsam mit dem Investment Team führst du hands-on bis zu 10 Neuinvestments pro Jahr durch und baust dir ein starkes Netzwerk an erstklassigen Start-ups, Business Angels und VCs auf. Du bist auf der Suche nach einem dynamischen Umfeld, das spannende Einblicke, persönliche und inhaltliche Weiterentwicklung und viel Gestaltungsspielraum bietet? - Du verantwortest die Durchführung eines Stipendienprogramms für Gründende (Prototyping Grants) und triffst die Auswahl förderwürdiger Teams
- Du bist verantwortlich für das Screening und die Selektion vielversprechender Kandidat_innen für Pre-Seed Capital Investments
- Du bereitest, basierend auf der von dir mit erstellten Analyse und durchgeführten Due Dilligence, Entscheidungsvorlagen für das Investment Committee vor
- Du unterstützt bei der Erstellung von Reporting-Dokumenten
Dein Profil
- Du hast erste Erfahrung im Investmentbereich, oder in der Gründung bzw. Beratung, idealerweise mit Technologiehintergrund
- Du begeisterst dich für komplexe, innovative Technologien und hast Lust ein innovatives Investmentprogramm weiterzuentwickeln und erfolgreich zu machen
- Du übernimmst gerne Verantwortung und hast Lust kreative Lösungsvorschläge zu entwickeln und Entscheidungen zu treffen
- Du verfügst über fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse sowie exzellente Kommunikationsfähigkeiten
