Job Responsibilities:

• Deep understanding of PCBand electronic system design and the complexity of technical environments.
• Strong grasp of salesprocesses to effectively align technical activities with commercialobjectives.
• Leading and developing ahigh-performing team of Application Engineers: providing coaching andguidance on developing a long-term vision and successfully collaboratingacross customers and internal networks
• Facilitating the ongoingdevelopment of team processes and procedures; and building alignmentacross Sales and Portfolio Units.
• Ability to work in aninternational environment, understanding the multi-cultural aspects of ateam and customers spread in multiple countries.
• Managing resource levelsand skills effectively in the team to ensure coverage for ongoing andfuture sales engagements. Ensuring the team is staffed to the plannedheadcount and ensures coverage for emerging products
• Keeping team highlymotivated by creating/keeping a strong team spirit and a team “harmony”.Establish an open communication forum and share experience in the team.
• Providing coaching andtraining to facilitate the development of the AEs. Monitoring performanceand driving achievement through the performance review process.
• Collaborating closely withSales Management and Account Teams to ensure an efficient and productiveaccount coverage model that supports growth objectives and meets yearlynumbers.
• Coordinating/facilitatingcross-territory account strategies and technical implementation of plans.
• Overseeing opportunityplans, prioritization, and development, including Target Account Selling(TAS) plan development and organizational resource alignment to supportlong-term account growth.
• Focusing on developing newbusinesses by broadening product usage portfolio and competitivereplacements
• Guiding development ofprogram plans for driving penetration, adoption, and add-on sales; anddefending existing install base within the account.
• Overseeing collaborativeinitiatives with Portfolio Units, ensuring tailored solutions to addressspecific customer needs are demonstrated across and optimized for thebroader Key Account base.
• Instill collaborationattitude with other Siemens EDA and Siemens PL teams (sales, support,services, other technical products AE teams, …)

Qualifications:

• Leading in a global,matrixed environment and building relationships and partnerships, bothinternally and externally; ability to quickly build trust with seniorleaders as well as collaborate with and motivate a cross-functional teamto develop solutions and overcome obstacles
• Very good interpersonal,oral and written communication, and presentation skills to allorganizational levels, including executive, C-Level leadership
• Ability to handlecompeting priorities with an ability to address and solve problems in atimely manner. Ability to delegate efficiently.
• Leading by example,displaying the attitude and skills that direct reports should aspire to
