Team Lead Account Management (m/f/d)
Your mission
As Team Lead Account Management, you are the architect of our customer relationships. You bear strategic responsibility for identifying and sustainably unlocking the full growth potential within our customer base. Your primary focus is on scaling the team, optimising our retention and expansion strategies, and sustainably maximising Net Revenue Retention (NRR). Your specific responsibilities are:
- Strategic growth management: You are responsible for our expansion (up-selling and cross-selling) and retention targets (renewal management) across the entire customer portfolio and develop strategies to maximise Customer Lifetime Value
- Transformative leadership: You will take on the technical and managerial leadership of your team (currently 5 Account Managers) and provide ongoing coaching. You will foster a performance culture based on motivation and individual development
- Performance management: You will be responsible for regular KPI reporting and forecasting, and will derive strategic recommendations for management from these
- Process Design & CRM Optimisation: You will actively help shape the strategic structuring of portfolios and drive the implementation of new Salesforce processes to take expansion and retention to the next level
- Central Point of Contact: You will represent the Account Management Team and act as a communicative bridge to other units internally
- Externally, you act as the next point of contact for customers and support your team members during complex contract negotiations
Your profile
- You have at least five years of experience in sales or existing customer management with SaaS B2B clients, ideally in a scale-up
- You have two to three years of experience in a managerial role and have demonstrated that you can improve the performance of your team members through individual support and coaching
- You possess strong analytical skills and a keen understanding of complex process structures
- You have a proven track record of achieving your strategic goals using KPIs and driving them forward successfully
- You are communicative, highly organised and able to quickly establish goal-oriented working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- You have excellent German language skills (C2) and English language skills (min. C1)
