Stellenbeschreibung

• Sizing of structural parts, components and installations made from metal and carbon fiber materials using state of the art analysis tools, FEM techniques and classic handbook methods
• Trade off analysis for design solutions and structural concepts
• Analysis of mechanical systems and equipment integration
• Preparation of analysis reports and statements to support airframe qualification
• Assessment of damages and development of repairs for in-service A/C Support to manufacturing and assembly lines and evaluation of concessions and nonconformities
• Communication to relevant stakeholders and adjacent departments

Anforderungsprofil

• Completed studies in the field of aerspace or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience as engineer in aircraft structural analysis
• Experience in the application of specific stress analysis and FEM tools (e.g. Nastran, Hyperworks etc.)
• Experience in stress analysis of pipe works or impact simulations is seen as a plus
• Knowledge of using of standard stress analysis methods (e.g. HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark & Young)
• Fluent in English and German
