For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.
As a Simulator Integration & Verification Engineer, you integrate and maintain hardware and software simulation items within the Pilot Synthetic Training System environment. Your primary focus is the Eurofighter Phase 3 Evolution project, working as part of the PSTS System Engineering and Verification team.
Your tasks

• Provide and document system test definitions for the relevant hardware and software simulation items, primarily for the P3E project
• Support the installation and maintenance of all PSTS training devices and generate test stories and test cases based on Level 1 requirements
• Perform Level 1 requirements verification using the defined test stories and ensure requirements traceability
• Implement and test design changes resulting from hardware modifications and conduct hardware/software system tests, including documentation of the results
• Support acceptance testing and qualification activities together with service functions and the final customer
• Ensure the resolution of technical and design issues affecting simulation items and report status information to the Integration Manager and Chief Engineer as required
• Use artificial intelligence wherever possible to generate test cases and execute the complete verification matrix

Your profile

• Completed master’s or diploma degree in computer science or aerospace engineering
• Knowledge of system integration processes is required
• Knowledge of testing activities and requirements traceability is mandatory
• Experience in system verification and qualification is required; knowledge of Eurofighter simulation and verification processes is desirable
• Detailed specialist knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge of programming languages and operating systems such as C, C++, Python, Perl, ADA, Windows or Linux is advantageous
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence tools is a strong asset; knowledge of requirements management tools such as DOORS is advantageous
• Business-fluent English skills; German language skills are desirable
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing daily activities and priorities, combined with good communication skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment
