Your Role & Mission - We are seeking an impact-driven and technically savvy Senior Customer Success Manager to join our mission-driven team at Carbmee. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of customer relationships and technical execution, helping customers succeed by driving data-heavy implementations.
You’ll start by owning post-sales success for strategic customers, acting as their trusted carbon management advisor and gradually transition to join our Value Engineering team, where you’ll dive deeper into data handling, carbon modeling, and technical configuration.

Your tasks

Customer Success & Strategic Engagement (with an initial focus on CSM responsibilities - approx. 70%)

  • Manage a portfolio of Carbmee’s key accounts, driving value through successful product adoption and carbon decarbonization impact.
  • Serve as the primary post-sales point of contact - liaising with senior stakeholders in Sustainability, Procurement, and Compliance.
  • Translate sustainability goals into structured delivery plans using Carbmee’s Carbon Management Solution.
  • Build strong executive relationships, secure renewals, and identify expansion opportunities together with our Account Executives.
  • Advocate internally for your customers, bringing product feedback and insights back to Engineering and Product teams.

Value Delivery, Use Case Modelling & Data Handling (growing to ~70% over time)

  • Lead technical onboarding of customer data: guiding clients through data requirements, validations, and carbon calculation configurations.
  • Support workshops such as the Maturity Assessment and Data Strategy Sessions, becoming a strategic data translator between business needs and carbon modeling.
  • Partner closely with the Deployment Engineering team to improve implementation frameworks, documentation, and data quality workflows.
  • Develop deep knowledge of carbon accounting methodologies and how to operationalize them in a scalable SaaS product.

Your profile

  • 2-5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role - such as Technical Account Management, Pre-Sales/Solution Consulting, Technical Customer Success in enterprise SaaS, or relevant Implementation roles.
  • Skilled at partnering with executive-level stakeholders in large organizations and translating their business strategy into impactful product usage.
  • Strong understanding of data, onboarding processes, and ideally exposure to carbon accounting, and sustainability challenges in industrial companies.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills - equally comfortable in technical workshops and strategic business reviews.
  • Experience working with climate-related standards, regulatory frameworks (e.g., CSRD, CBAM, SBTi), or GHG Protocol is a strong plus.
  • Performance-driven mindset and strong project management skills - able to manage multiple customers, data timelines, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English, with German being a strong plus.
  • You are passionate about business sustainability, carbon emissions management, and decarbonisation strategy development in alignment with Carbmee’s mission and vision
