Setup

To further strengthen its German Legal Department, we are seeking a versatile, pragmatic, and business-oriented Senior Legal Counsel (f/m/d) - Commercial Law.

Aufgaben

Main Duties:

• Draft, review, negotiate and manage a broad range of complex commercial agreements, ensuring legal compliance while supporting strategic business objectives.
• Independently lead sophisticated legal matters from initial instruction through execution, acting as the primary legal contact rather than merely providing supporting advice.
• Advise on complex project-related contracts and support cross-functional teams throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Handle supplier, procurement and strategic sourcing agreements, including contract negotiations and legal risk assessments.
• Prepare, review and negotiate non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and other confidentiality-related documentation.
• Support corporate and governance matters as the company continues to scale.
• Act as a trusted legal business partner for internal stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions and international group companies.
• Provide comprehensive legal support for all legal matters relating to the recently acquired Krause Automation business in Bremen.
• Identify legal risks proactively and develop pragmatic, commercially driven solutions.

Ihr Profil

Job Requirements:

• Fully qualified German lawyer (Volljurist) with excellent academic credentials.
• Ideally 5-6 years of professional experience gained at a leading international law firm; current in-house experience is considered a strong advantage.
• Solid experience in contract law, ideally close to technology, software, intellectual property and trade-secret matters.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex legal matters and deliver pragmatic, business-oriented advice.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills in both legal and commercial contexts.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.
• A strong communicator who works independently, with humour, stamina and an ownership mentality, and is happy to walk the extra mile.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across international teams and cultures.
• Business-fluent English and German; additional languages are an advantage.
