Senior Electronics Design Engineer – FPGA Design (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Analyse and define technical requirements
• Design architecture and requirements breakdown to functional blocks
• FPGA design, implementation and definition of constraints
• Design documentation according to internal and external normative standards
• Creation and execution of test benches for RTL and timing simulation
• Formal verification of FPGA designs (timing analysis, code coverage, coding rule check)
• Support of the FPGA integration on the target hardware
• Define verification concepts and plans
• Conduct FPGA verification and test activities on the target hardware
• Programming of test hardware for automated implementation of hardware test cases

Your Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
• +5 years of professional experience in FPGA design and verification, preferably in the space or aerospace industry
• Strong expertise in VHDL design for synthesis and behavioral modeling
• Familiarity with state-of-the-art design and simulation tools (e.g., Libero, ModelSim)
• Experience in applying ECSS standards (ECSS-E-ST-20-40 and ECSS-Q-ST-60-02)
• Knowledge of radiation mitigation techniques for space-grade electronics
• Experience in FPGA-based applications, such as digital signal processing and control algorithms
• Proficiency in programming languages (C/C++ or Python)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
