We are looking to strengthen our team at our site in Roding
Senior Development Engineer (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- Conception and development of new generations of machines in collaboration with internal departments
- Design of assemblies and systems for production and custom machines
- Design and dimensioning of pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic drives and components
- Conducting risk assessments in accordance with the Machinery Directive
- Development and assembly of test setups
- Planning, preparation, and execution of tests
- Providing technical support during customer meetings and visits
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, such as operating instructions, pneumatic plans and technical documents
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical certification in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology or a comparable field
- At least 4 years of experience in design, ideally in the field of specialized machinery or automation
- Experience in the development of mechatronic assemblies
- Experience in working with 3D CAD systems, preferably SolidWorks
- Knowledge of creating pneumatic diagrams and pneumatic circuits, ideally using EPLAN P8
- Structured and independent way of working
- Ability to work well in a team and strong sense of initiative
- SAP knowledge would be ideal
