Ihre Aufgaben

Über die Rolle:
Als Senior Analyst (M/W/D) im Bereich Private Equity für das Münchener oder Madrider Büro sind Sie Teil eines dynamischen Investment-Teams, das globale Investitionen in Private Equity Fonds und Co-Investments identifiziert, bewertet und umsetzt. Ihr Fokus liegt auf der detaillierten Analyse einzelner Fonds, Secondary Transaktionen und Co-Investment Transaktionen. Sie wirken an allen Phasen des Fundraising- und Investmentprozesses mit - von der Investorenansprache, Deal Sourcing- und Analysephase bis zur laufenden Betreuung des Bestandsportfolios - und arbeiten eng mit dem YIELCO Investment Committee, Fondsmanagern und internen Stakeholdern zusammen. In dieser Rolle erhalten Sie breites Exposure zu globalen Private-Equity-Markt und entwickeln ein tiefes Verständnis für Fonds- und Co-Investment-Strategien.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Analyse und Bewertung globaler Investmentopportunitäten in Primaries, Secondaries und Co-Investments - mit Fokus auf Manageridentifizierung, Einzelfirmendaten, Kapitalstrukturen und Werttreibern.
• Eigenständige Erstellung von Finanzanalysen, Bewertungsmodellen und Investment-Reports; Präsentation der Ergebnisse in Entscheidungsgremien.
• Unterstützung im Due-Diligence-Prozess: Unternehmens-, Markt- und Wettbewerbsanalysen sowie Koordination externer Berater.
• Enger Austausch mit Fondsmanagern und Co-Investment-Partnern, Teilnahme an Onsite-Meetings und aktiver Ausbau des Investmentnetzwerks.
• Mitwirkung beim Aufbau und bei der strategischen Weiterentwicklung der Private-Equity-Portfolios (über Dachfonds und Mandate).
• Laufende Portfolioüberwachung, Performance-Analysen und Unterstützung beim Reporting an das Investment Committee und den Investoren.
• Weiterentwicklung interner Tools, Datenbanken und Prozesse zur Optimierung des Investment-Workflows.
• Unterstützung bei der Präsentationsvorbereitung für Fundraising, Reporting und für interne Vorlagen.

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossenes wirtschaftswissenschaftliches Studium (Master bevorzugt) mit Schwerpunkt Finance, Accounting, Economics oder vergleichbar.
• 2-4 Jahre relevante Berufserfahrung in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Transaction Services, Corporate Finance oder Transaction Services.
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Finanzmodellierung und Unternehmensbewertung (LBO, DCF, Benchmarking) sowie sicherer Umgang mit großen Datensätzen.
• Erfahrung in Due Diligence-Prozessen (kommerziell, finanziell) und Erstellung von Investment-Proposals für Entscheidungsgremien.
• Hohes analytisches Verständnis, strukturierte Arbeitsweise, Eigeninitiative und ein ausgeprägter Qualitätsanspruch.
• Sicherer Umgang mit Excel (Pivot, Power Query, INDEX-MATCH, XLOOKUP) sowie PowerPoint
• Erfahrung mit Private-Equity-Datenbanken (z. B. Preqin, PitchBook, eFront) von Vorteil.
• Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift - Deutschkenntnisse vom Vorteil
• Internationale Reisebereitschaft

Your mission

About the Role:

As a Senior Analyst (M/F/D) in the Private Equity team for the Munich or Madrid office, you will be part of a dynamic investment team that identifies, evaluates, and executes global investments in private equity funds and co-investments. Your focus will be on the detailed analysis of individual funds, secondary transactions, and co-investment opportunities. You will be involved in all phases of the fundraising and investment process-from investor outreach, deal sourcing, and analysis to the ongoing monitoring of the existing portfolio-and work closely with the YIELCO Investment Committee, fund managers, and internal stakeholders. In this role, you will gain broad exposure to the global private equity market and develop a deep understanding of fund and co-investment strategies.
Your Tasks:

• Analyse and evaluate global investment opportunities in primaries, secondaries, and co-investments - with a focus on manager identification, company-level data, capital structures, and value drivers.
• Independently prepare financial analyses, valuation models, and investment reports; present results to decision-making committees.
• Support the due diligence process: company, market, and competitive analyses as well as coordination of external advisors.
• Maintain close communication with fund managers and co-investment partners, participate in onsite meetings, and actively expand the investment network.
• Contribute to the development and strategic enhancement of private equity portfolios (via fund-of-funds structures and mandates).
• Ongoing portfolio monitoring, performance analyses, and support with reporting to the Investment Committee and investors.
• Further develop internal tools, databases, and processes to optimize the investment workflow.
• Assist in preparing presentations for fundraising, reporting, and internal templates.

Your profile

• Completed degree in economics or business administration (Master preferred) with a focus on Finance, Accounting, Economics, or comparable fields.
• 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of financial modelling and corporate valuation (LBO, DCF, benchmarking) and confident handling of large datasets.
• Experience in due diligence processes (commercial, financial) and in preparing investment proposals for decision-making committees.
• High analytical capability, structured working style, initiative, and strong commitment to quality.
• Proficient in Excel (Pivot, Power Query, INDEX‑MATCH, XLOOKUP) as well as PowerPoint.
• Experience with private equity databases (e.g. Preqin, PitchBook, eFront) is an advantage.
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken - German skills beneficial.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Team‑player mentality with high professionalism, discretion, and enthusiasm for the world of private equity and co-investments.
