Sales & Application Engineer

Your Mission

To strengthen our Doctoring Solutions business, we are looking for a Sales & Application Engineer (m/f/d) for Northern Germany. In this customer-facing role, you will combine technical expertise with commercial responsibility, helping customers optimize their production processes while further developing our market presence.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage and develop customer relationships within Northern Germany
• Provide technical application support for doctor blades, blade holders, and related products
• Conduct customer visits, inspections, and troubleshooting activities
• Support product trials and machine performance optimization projects
• Identify and develop new business opportunities
• Deliver technical presentations and product training to customers
• Prepare quotations and provide commercial support throughout the sales process
• Collaborate closely with internal product management, service, and operations teams
• Occasionally support customers and projects in other European markets

Your Profile

• Technical education or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Paper Technology, or a related field
• Experience in industrial sales, technical service, or application engineering
• Experience in the paper, board, tissue, converting, or related process industries is an advantage
• Strong customer orientation and excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently from a home-office environment
• Willingness to travel regularly within Northern Germany
• Fluent German and good English language skills
• Proficient in common Microsoft Office applications
