About ITM

ITM is a privately owned biotechnology and radiopharmaceutical group of companies dedicated to the development, production and global supply of targeted diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and radioisotopes for use in cancer treatment. We are developing a proprietary portfolio and growing pipeline of targeted treatments in various stages of clinical development addressing cancers such as neuroendocrine cancers or bone metastases. Our main objectives are to significantly improve treatment outcomes and quality of life for cancer patients through a new generation of Targeted Radionuclide Therapies in Precision Oncology. The headquarters are located in the heart of the research center of the Technical University of Munich (TUM).

Portfolio Manager/Analyst (f/m/d)

Your role

  • Asset Evaluation & Prioritization: Lead in-depth evaluations of internal programs and external opportunities using scientific, clinical, and commercial criteria
  • Support portfolio triage decisions by building robust valuation frameworks and stage-gate criteria
  • Conduct risk-adjusted, data-driven assessments to determine development priorities
  • Forecasting & Scenario Modelling: Develop and maintain forecasting models for pipeline assets, integrating clinical timelines, probability of success, market dynamics, and financial assumptions
  • Perform scenario planning to support strategic trade-offs under different development, regulatory, and commercial pathways
  • Partner with Finance and Commercial teams to refine assumptions and ensure alignment with corporate strategy
  • Portfolio Analytics: Create and manage portfolio dashboard and visualizations to enable dynamic decision-making
  • Conduct portfolio optimization analyses to evaluate investment mix, balance risk, and maximize portfolio value
  • Strategic Planning & Reporting: Contribute to annual and long-range planning through strategic forecasting and portfolio projections
  • Prepare high-quality materials for governance bodies, including executive committees and the supervisory board
  • Support corporate development efforts by evaluating licensing and acquisition opportunities
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with project leads, R&D, commercial, and regulatory teams to understand scientific progress, clinical risks, and market opportunity
  • Facilitate alignment across disciplines to ensure coherent program strategies and investment decisions.

Your profile

  • Education: Ph.D. in a life science discipline (e.g., Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, Immunology, Genetics) or Masters with significant
  • Oncology experience preferred
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry with a focus on portfolio management, valuation, pipeline forecasting, or corporate strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to forecast clinical-stage assets and translate scientific milestones into financial impact
  • Experience with competitive intelligence, market research, consulting
  • Skills & Competencies: Advanced modeling and analytical skills (e.g., Excel, valuation frameworks)
  • Deep understanding of clinical development, regulatory strategy, and product lifecycle planning
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to synthesize complex information into strategic insights
  • Independent, communicative, proactive, goal-oriented and reliable work approach
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), good level of German advantageous with willingness to improve language skills
  • Willingness to travel may be required
