With over a decade of experience in talent recruitment, Human Profiler is a consultancy specialized in IT Outsourcing and the selection of qualified profiles. We track trends, anticipate needs, and align talent with the right challenges through agility, closeness, and a personalized approach. We are currently looking for a Linux System Administrator to our team. Main responsibilities -Administer, maintain, and support Linux server environments (Red Hat, CentOS, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, or equivalent). -Perform system installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting activities. -Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity, implementing improvements when necessary. -Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls following security best practices. -Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures. -Troubleshoot operating system, application, and infrastructure-related incidents. -Automate routine operational tasks using scripting technologies such as Bash, Python, or Ansible. -Manage and maintain virtualization platforms and cloud-based Linux environments when applicable. -Collaborate with application, database, network, and security teams to resolve technical issues. -Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles. -Participate in infrastructure projects, migrations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. -Ensure compliance with company security policies and operational standards. Requirements -Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience. -Minimum of 3 years of experience administering Linux environments in enterprise infrastructures. -Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and system administration concepts. -Experience with system monitoring and performance analysis tools. -Knowledge of shell scripting (Bash) and automation tools. -Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible is considered an advantage. -Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V) is desirable. -Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Load Balancing, Firewalls). -Understanding of ITIL processes and incident management practices is a plus.- Hybrid Working Model (Lisbon); - Intermediate to advanced English (written and spoken); From application to team integration The first contact is made by phone or videoconference, during a dedicated moment to better understand the candidate’s professional background and motivations. During the integration phase, close and consistent support is ensured to foster continuous development and smooth adaptation to the new team. In accordance with Directive (EU) 2023/970 on pay transparency, the salary range for this position is €20,000 to €42,000 gross per annum, depending on the candidate's level of seniority.
