Inhouse Tax Expert (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Contact person for internal tax-related inquiries from various departments
• Comprehensive tax-related group year-end closing activities in collaboration with tax advisors
• Preparation of annual tax returns and group tax returns
• Close coordination and collaboration with authorities and external advisors
• Support and coordination of group-wide tax planning
• Timely preparation and submission of VAT advance returns and annual VAT returns
• Preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation (including master file and local file), as well as acting as an internal and external point of contact (subsidiaries, advisors, departments)
• Support and coordination of tax matters relating to foreign permanent establishments
• Preparation and support of national and cross-border tax audits
• Development and management of our group-wide digital tax platform
• Reporting and compliance to ensure adherence to tax regulations

Your profile

• At least 5 years of professional experience in a tax-related role, ideally including an international focus
• Completed training in tax law or a degree with a specialization in tax law
• Confident in using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams); knowledge of SAP FI/CO is beneficial; initial experience with platforms and AI is an advantage
• Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
• Analytical mindset, interest in structured work in a tax-law environment, strong communication skills, high level of initiative, and a team-oriented approach
