About ITM

ITM is a privately owned biotechnology and radiopharmaceutical group of companies dedicated to the development, production and global supply of targeted diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and radioisotopes for use in cancer treatment. We are developing a proprietary portfolio and growing pipeline of targeted treatments in various stages of clinical development addressing cancers such as neuroendocrine cancers or bone metastases. Our main objectives are to significantly improve treatment outcomes and quality of life for cancer patients through a new generation of Targeted Radionuclide Therapies in Precision Oncology. The headquarters are located in the heart of the research center of the Technical University of Munich (TUM).

Head of HR US (f/m/d)

Your role

  • HR Leadership & Strategy o Serve as the HR lead for ITM USA, aligning U.S. people strategy with global HR direction and local business needs. o Provide day-to-day HR support to leaders and employees across commercial, medical, market access, operations, and support functions. o Partner closely with the Global Head of HR to localize global policies and practices for the U.S. organization.
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding o Lead full-cycle recruitment for U.S.-based roles (FTE and contractor), including role definition, job posting, screening, interviewing, and offer development. o Collaborate with hiring managers to build job descriptions and structured interview processes, leveraging platforms such as LinkedIn. o Oversee onboarding and orientation for all new hires, ensuring a consistent and engaging experience.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance o Act as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries and issues in the U.S. o Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and regulations. o Maintain and update employee handbook, HR policies, and documentation aligned with best practices and legal requirements.
  • Performance & Development o Support implementation of global performance review processes and goal-setting frameworks, tailored to local team needs. o Assist in identifying development opportunities and resources for leadership, functional, and cross-functional capability building.
  • Culture & Engagement o Foster a values-driven culture that supports accountability, transparency, and cross-functional collaboration. o Implement recognition and engagement programs to strengthen employee satisfaction and retention. o Conduct onboarding feedback sessions and exit interviews to inform people strategies.
  • HR Operations o Manage U.S. HR and data integrity, payroll interface, and benefits administration in coordination with external vendors. o Track and report HR metrics related to hiring, turnover, headcount, and engagement to both U.S. and global leadership.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • 8+ years of HR experience (preferably in life sciences)
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. labor laws, HR compliance requirements, and best practices.
  • Experience supporting rapid growth in a startup, biotech, or commercial launch environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach, influence, and support managers at various levels.
  • Comfortable working in a lean, hands-on environment while building scalable processes and systems.
