Financial Assistant (Part-Time) with German
Your mission
As our Financial Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting omniIT’s finance operations. Starting with 10 hours per week, you’ll help keep our processes smooth, organized, and compliant-while having the opportunity to take on more responsibility over time.
Your main tasks will include:
- Managing accounts payable: invoice verification, entry, reconciliation, and vendor communication
- Handling the finance inbox, processing incoming messages and ensuring timely responses
- Supporting the dunning (reminder) process
- Preparing payment runs
- Assisting with cross-functional and financial projects
- Supporting the year-end closing process
- Creating and maintaining financial documentation
- Option to take over procurement processes and expand into additional finance-related responsibilities in the future
Your profile
- Proven experience in finance or accounting
- Fluency in German (written and spoken) is essential
- Experience working in a German company is a strong plus
- Comfortable using ERP systems and standard office tools (e.g., Excel, Outlook)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Open to growing within the role and taking on more responsibility over time
