Data Governance Consultant (f/m/x)

• Define and roll out within the TÜV SÜD group data governance standards and frameworks
• Identify potential data governance risks, perform data governance assessments and support implementing scalable data organisations
• Collaborate with business units to implement governance practices locally
• Implement GDPR and other regulatory compliance across data processes
• Enable metadata management, data cataloging, and data ownership models
• Educate on data governance and data management best practices
• Minimum 7 years experience in a data related role, at least 5 years within Data Governance or Data Management.
• Holds a degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines
• Deep knowledge of data governance frameworks and data quality standards and familiarity with regulatory requirements
• Experience with cloud data platforms and data management tools (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, GCP)
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and change management skills and ability to balance compliance needs with business agility
• German min. C1 level, English fluency
