Your prospective job:

You are acting as a Commodity Manager (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Defence and Space in Manching.

Your responsibilities:

• Entry point to company for commodity management (per commodity products/services)
• Establishing, implementing and improving commodity strategy
• Implementing the Procurement policy
• Performing market analysis (global sourcing including offsets)
• Managing sourcing (CFT, RFP, etc...) & contract management
• Contributing in monitoring & improving supplier performance
• Identifying & leading value creation project and supporting product /service innovation
• Sustaining long term relationships with suppliers
• Ensuring risk management

Your profile

• Completed studies in business administration, supply chain/logistics, economics or comparable
• Further training and solid experience in Commodity management
• Professional experience in scheduling/material procurement and purchasing
• Confident handling with MS-Office and SAP
• Fluent German and English, both spoken and written
