Commissioning Technician

About the Role

We are supporting an innovative industrial project and are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Field / Commissioning Technician to support on-site operations and commissioning activities.

You will work closely with internal engineering teams, focusing on execution, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems in a live project environment.
This is a practical, site-based role suited to someone who thrives in the field and enjoys solving technical challenges on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

• Support mechanical installation and commissioning activities
• Carry out testing, inspection, and troubleshooting of equipment
• Assist with FAT/SAT and system start-up activities
• Perform maintenance and fault-finding on mechanical systems
• Work closely with engineers to ensure smooth project execution
• Ensure all activities are performed in line with HSE standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in a hands-on mechanical or field-based role
• Background in industries such as: Energy / Oil & Gas
• Process industry
• Heavy industry / industrial plants

• Experience with commissioning, maintenance, or installation
• Strong practical skills in: Mechanical systems
• Equipment troubleshooting
• On-site operations

• Comfortable working in a site-based, execution-focused role
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
