You’ll develop test system applications, solve technical challenges, and ensure smooth communication between electronic modules and DRÄXLMAIER systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software applications for specific test systems, ensuring connectivity between hardware modules and PCs.
- Implement computer programs based on predefined specifications and integrate them into relevant systems, including testing for compliance.
- Participate in implementing quality standards and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with industrial safety guidelines and current technological regulations within your area of responsibility.
- Prepare and deliver software to production plants and testing facilities.
- Develop and optimize future-oriented software components.
- Document, manage, and archive software using tools such as SVN and PTC Integrity.
- Analyze and resolve software-related issues, including function tests, customer complaints, and module testing.
- Create technical documentation and presentations for developed applications.
- Promote efficient cross-functional collaboration and adhere to agreed escalation procedures.
- Comply with health, safety, and environmental requirements as per company standards.
Your Profile
- University degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, with 2 to 3 years of experience in software development
- Advanced knowledge of PC standard interfaces.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software development structures.
- Experience with unit testing, test plan processing, and documentation.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows concepts (multi-threading, security)
- Proficiency in programming languages and technologies such as: C/C++ (MFC), C# (.NET), and .NET Frameworks (2.0 to 4.7)
- Familiarity with software versioning and documentation tools (e.g., SVN, PTC Integrity)
- Excellent English language skills (written and spoken)
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools
