Bid Manager / Inside Sales Engineer (m/f/d)

As a Bid Manager / Inside Sales Engineer, you will serve as the central liaison among Sales, Consulting, Engineering, Procurement, and our manufacturing partners. You will coordinate the handling of public tenders and complex bid projects, ensuring that our customers receive tailored, high‑quality solutions.
Your tasks
- You independently process and coordinate public tenders (VgV, UVgO, national and EU‑wide procurements)
- You analyse tender documentation and verify technical, commercial and formal requirements
- You obtain reference approvals as required
- You prepare, cost‑estimate and compile complex offers in close cooperation with sales, consulting and engineering
- You steer the entire bid process-from tender analysis through to on‑time submission of the offer
- You request supplier quotations, evaluate them and liaise with manufacturers, suppliers and distributors
- You maintain and further develop proposal templates, costing models and tender standards
- You support the sales team with offer presentations, contract documentation and customer inquiries
- You keep deadlines firmly in view and ensure a high level of proposal quality and compliance
Your profile
- You have successfully completed a commercial or technical apprenticeship or hold a university degree in IT, business, or a comparable field
- You ideally have experience in bid management, internal sales support, or handling public tender
- You possess solid technical understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security solutions
- You are characterized by a structured, meticulous, and self‑directed way of working
- You demonstrate strong organizational skills and a high level of quality awareness
- You bring excellent communication abilities and enjoy collaborating with diverse departments
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Your German language skills are very good, both spoken and written, and good English language skills complete your profile
