The Deutscher Eishockey-Bund (DEB) The German Ice Hockey Federation (DEB) has been the leading governing body for ice hockey in Germany since 1963. The purpose of the federation, headquartered in Munich, is the general and, in particular, the national promotion of ice hockey. DEB In addition to organizing the men's and women's national teams, it also organizes all Young Talent national teams. DEB-Leagues as well as the training and further education of coaches and referees. The DEB is a member of the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB), the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) and is supported by the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI) as a top Olympic federation.
To strengthen our team at our Munich location, we are looking for effective January 1, 2026, or at the latest in the first quarter of 01.01.2026, - initially limited to 2 years - one/s:
Accountant / Financial Accountant (m/f/d) full-time or part-time
Your tasks:
As our new accountant (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the financial integrity of our company. Your main tasks will include:
- Independent and timely recording and posting of all business transactions (creditors, debtors, general ledger accounts)
- Active participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with German Commercial Code (HGB).
- Preparation and support with tax returns and audits
- Conducting account reconciliation and resolving any discrepancies
- Handling of all payment transactions and liquidity management
- Maintenance of fixed asset, accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting
- Review and posting of credit card statements
- Responsibility for the cash register and carrying out the monthly accounting.
Your profile
We are looking for a person with strong numerical skills, precision and a responsible attitude:
- A completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally with further training as a certified accountant or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting
- Solid knowledge of accounting software (e.g. DATEV, SAP, etc.) and proficient use of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Current knowledge in commercial and tax law
- Analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for understanding complex relationships and avoiding errors.
- High reliability, discretion and a structured, independent working style.
