About the Role

HOLOGATE is looking for a talented 3D Artist (f/m/d) to join our creative team. In this role, you will work across multiple stages of the 3D art pipeline-from modeling and texturing to integration into Unreal Engine-helping to create visually compelling and technically optimized assets for immersive entertainment experiences. Your Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 3D assets with a strong focus on modeling, texturing, and UV layouting
• Follow modern game art workflows, including high-poly to low-poly baking
• Ensure clean topology and optimized assets for real-time applications
• Implement and optimize 3D models within the Unreal Engine 5 pipeline
• Collaborate closely with artists, technical artists, and developers to ensure visual and technical consistency
• Maintain high artistic and technical quality standards across all assets

Your Profile

• At least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable 3D art role
• Strong skills in 3D modeling and general art fundamentals
• Proficiency in Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max
• Solid experience with Unreal Engine 4 and/or 5
• Strong eye for aesthetics, composition, and detail, with the ability to develop own designs
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment
• Excellent communication skills in German and English

Nice to Have

• Experience with 3D animation
• Knowledge of rigging and skinning for characters
